Registered Nurse candidates for the Medical Surgical Oncology Unit will have the following job responsibilities:
Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation
Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team
Analyze the assessment data to determine the diagnosis or issues
Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and the situation
Act as an advocate for patient safety.
Ensure effective care and use of time, supplies, and equipment.
Educate patients regarding their medications, procedure and treatments, providing patients and their families with support throughout their stay.

Registered Nurse candidates for the Medical Surgical Oncology Unit must meet the following minimum job qualifications:
1 year of Recent RN experience. (Does not need to have acute care experience. IT IS STRONGLY PREFERRED HOWEVER, THEY WOULD BE OPEN FOR LTAC EXPERIENCE) (RECENT RN EXPERIENCE IS STRONGLY PREFERRED)
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or able to obtain licensure prior to start is required
Current BLS required
Current ACLS preferred, required within 6 months of hire
