We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients while monitoring cardiac rhythms and coordinating interdisciplinary care.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 12 months of permanent Med/Surg/Telemetry RN experience
Active Ohio RN or Compact RN license
BLS certification
ACLS certification
NIHSS certification
Successful ECG Rhythm Recognition Test during orientation
Successful SafeMedicate assessment during orientation
Travelers must be willing to work at least every other holiday
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive Med/Surg/Telemetry nursing care
Monitor cardiac rhythms and recognize clinical changes
Administer medications and treatments
Assess and document patient conditions
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Follow patient-safety and infection-control standards
Float to other appropriate units as required
Work rotating day/night shifts
Work at least every other holiday
