As a Med/Surg Telemetry RN, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions, including those requiring cardiac monitoring.
Schedule
13 week contract
Day/night rotation
36-40 hours per week
What You'll Do
Provide direct nursing care to medical/surgical and telemetry patients.
Assess patients and monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and changes in condition.
Administer medications, IV therapies, and prescribed treatments.
Recognize and respond to changes in patient status or emergencies.
Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to coordinate patient care.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and promote patient safety.
Qualifications
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), Diploma in Nursing, or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program
Successful completion of the NCLEX-RN
Current, active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in at least one U.S. state, territory, or commonwealth
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification, if required by the facility
Minimum 2-3 years of recent acute care hospital Med/Surg experience
