Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
Experience: One year relevant experience, preferred.
Licensure/certification/registration: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
What You'll Do:
Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to adult patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions.
Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, develop individualized plans of care, and monitor patient progress.
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions while assessing and responding to changes in patient condition.
Prioritize care and manage multiple patient needs in a fast-paced acute care environment.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and support positive patient outcomes.
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, treatments, and discharge plans.
Promote a safe environment while following evidence-based practices, hospital policies, and patient safety standards.
