Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical

Duration: 13 Weeks
Location: 80 Jesse Hill Jr Dr SE, Atlanta, GA 30303
Schedule: Nights | 3 × 12-hour shifts | 36 hours/week

Job Details

• High-acuity Medical/Surgical unit

• Trauma/Surgical experience required

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in the specialty

• Must be willing to work the assigned shifts; block scheduling is not available

• AHA BLS required

• ACLS preferred

• EPIC EMR required

• No RTO (Request Time Off)

Patient Population

• Surgical patients

• Trauma patients

• Gunshot wound (GSW) patients

• Quadriplegic patients

• Paraplegic patients

Unit Details

• Patient-to-RN ratio: 5:1

• Nursing Support Technicians available

• Phlebotomy services available

• Unit Secretary available on night shift

• ED nurses and admitting units provide a complete nurse-to-nurse handoff upon admission
