Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical RN to provide nursing care in a dedicated Medical Oncology/Hematology unit.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• AHA BLS Certification.
• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical/Surgical experience.
• Adult Medical/Surgical experience.
• Experience in Medical Oncology/Hematology.
• Strong assessment, medication-administration, and patient-care skills.
• Must meet holiday requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to Medical Oncology/Hematology patients.
• Assess patients and monitor changes in condition.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies.
• Monitor patients receiving oncology and hematology-related treatments.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment and care.
• Maintain patient safety and follow infection-control protocols.
• Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
• Work required holidays according to facility requirements.

Holiday Requirement

• Work 2 major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day.
• Work 1 minor holiday: Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve.
