MS RN Ratios: 1:5 - dependent on staffing Shift: Will work 3x12 DAYS 7A-730P, 36 hours/week, holiday rotation Weekend REQ: 3-4 weekend shifts per 4 week schedule Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes 8W Neuro/General Surgery Unit is a 25 mixed bed neurosurgery and general surgery unit serving any related patient with or without stepdown component. Required/Preferred Years of experience REQ: 1 year First timers accepted? Yes License REQ: South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN License Certs/Experience/Skills required: : BLS Experience/Skills Preferred: Neuro experience, ACLS, NIHSS Misc. Open to accommodating block schedule? Requires managers approval upon request. Dependent on unit's needs. Local Radius: 60 miles Locals accepted: Yes, on a case-by-case basis at 10% less than the posted bill rate RTO Restrictions: If a candidate is a clinical PASS, the account manager can auto offer a traveler that has 7 days or less of NON-HOLIDAY RTO. Any candidate that has 7+ days and/or includes holidays will have to be submitted to the facility for approval and can delay the process. Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks Hospital Highlights Type of Facility: Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, Magnet Hospital Total Staffed Beds: 820 Scrub Color: All RNs - Solid Royal Blue or White top with Royal blue bottoms. Charting: EPIC Parking Cost: Parking management office (located 91presidents street) to obtain parking permit. $20 registration fee for a hang tag which will allow use of the garage. No additional fees. Hang tag will not cover parking in any other locations. If parking outside of the 91 Street Parking Garage, additional fees may be incurred. Hurricane Season** Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem, please ensure travelers do not confirm a new or ext assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.
