     Job Description:

    Job Title: Registered Nurse Medical/Surgical
    Location: Great Falls, MT
    Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
    Shift Information: All shifts available
    Salary Range: $56,000 - $80,000 annually
    Facility Size: 0 - 49 beds

    Position Overview:

    Seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses to join the Medical/Surgical team. This role offers an opportunity to work with a variety of patient populations, including adults and pediatric patients before and after surgical procedures and with broad medical conditions. As an RN, you will play a key role in implementing the nursing process and collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Deliver care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation
    • Interact effectively with patients, families, and team members while maintaining a high standard of professional nursing
    • Collaborate with physicians and care teams to ensure excellent patient care
    • Supervise and give direction to LPNs, CNAs, housekeeping, and dietary staff
    • Participate in patient discharge planning
    • Support the acute care unit by following facility protocols and reporting to the Charge Nurse, Director, and CNO

    Education & Experience:

    Required:

    • Graduate of an accredited RN nursing program
    • Current Montana RN license (or eligibility)

    Preferred:

    • Experience in Med/Surg nursing
    • Pediatric nursing experience

    Certifications:

    • BLS, ACLS, and PALS required (can be completed within 6 months of hire)

    Skills & Abilities:

    • Basic nursing principles and clinical procedures
    • IV skills and the ability to perform accurate patient assessments
    • Basic computer and office equipment usage
    • Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
