Job Description
Summary:
- Duration: 14 Weeks
- Shift: 12-Hour Shifts: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients in a medical-surgical setting
- Manage tracheostomy care, ventilator, and chest tube management
- Adhere to established protocols and guidelines to ensure patient safety and quality care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Pediatric RN experience required
- Minimum 2 years of Medical/Pulmonary Pediatrics experience required
- BLS and PALS certifications required
- RN Licensure/Certification required
- Strong pediatric pulmonary experience required
- Comfortable caring for high-acuity trach, vent, and chest tube patients
Preferred Skills:
- Previous travel experience preferred
- Teaching hospital experience strongly preferred
- Experience with ventilator-dependent pediatric populations is highly preferred
