Job Title: Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical (Surgery Trauma Unit)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: 12-Hour Night Shifts

Position Overview:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse for a high-acuity Surgery Trauma Unit in Atlanta, GA. This role involves caring for complex trauma and surgical patients in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Job Details:

• 13-week travel assignment
• Night shift schedule
• 3 shifts per week
• High-acuity Surgery Trauma Unit
• No block scheduling available
• EMR System: Epic
• Patient ratio: 5:1

Patient Population:

• Spinal trauma patients
• Neuro trauma patients
• Surgical trauma cases
• Gunshot wound patients
• Quadriplegic patients
• Paraplegic patients

Support Staff Available:

• Nursing Support Technicians
• Phlebotomists
• Night shift unit secretary
• ED and admitting unit nurse handoff process

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical/Surgical experience
• Trauma or high-acuity surgical experience preferred
• Active RN license
• Current AHA BLS Certification required
• ACLS preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
