Position Overview
NurseAmerica is seeking an experienced Travel Med Surg RN for a 13-week assignment in Utica, NY. This position is ideal for an RN with strong medical-surgical and post-surgical patient care experience. Previous travel nursing experience is required.

Patient Population: Adults
Common Diagnoses: Post-surgical care, abdominal pain, cholelithiasis, osteoarthritis, fractures, back pain, morbid obesity, and bariatric surgery
Specialty Equipment: IV pumps, NG tubes, and feeding tubes
Charting System: EPIC
Scrub Color: Navy Blue
Floating: Required as needed
Schedule
Shift: 6:30 PM 7:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Block scheduling is not promised or guaranteed
No on-call requirement
Requirements
Active New York RN License
Minimum 2+ years of Medical Surgical experience
Previous travel nursing experience required
Current AHA BLS Certification
EPIC EMR experience
Current specialty-specific skills checklist
License verification for New York and all other active RN licenses
Current resume documenting relevant Med Surg and travel nursing experience
RTO must be disclosed at the time of submission
Valid driver's license with address matching candidate demographics
