• Pay Rate: $58.00 $62.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: 6:30 PM 7:00 AM (Block Scheduling is never promised or guaranteed)

Job Summary

This is a Medical/Surgical (MS) travel nursing position based in Utica, NY. The role involves caring for adult patients with a range of post-surgical and medical diagnoses, including abdominal pain, cholelithiasis, osteoarthritis, fracture, back pain, and morbid obesity (bariatric surgery). Floating is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide care for adult patients on a Medical/Surgical unit
• Manage common patient diagnoses including post-surgical care: abdominal pain, cholelithiasis, osteoarthritis, fracture, back pain, and morbid obesity (bariatric surgery)
• Operate specialty equipment including IV pumps, N/G tubes, and feeding tubes
• Float to other units as required

Required Skills

• EMR experience: EPIC
• Ability to work with specialty equipment including IV pumps, N/G tubes, and feeding tubes
• Travel nursing experience required

Education Requirements

• Active NY RN License required (verified via NURSYS Report with all active RN licenses)
• Current AHA BLS certification required

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical/Surgical nursing, documented on resume
• Travel nursing experience required

• RTO must be included at time of submission
