Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg/Tele Float

A healthcare facility in Auburn is actively seeking experienced Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurses (RNs) for multiple float pool openings.
Open Positions
5 Positions: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
6 Positions: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Floating: Required
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Compensation
Pay Rate: Up to $60.00 per hour (Flexible for the right experience)
Position Overview
This is a Med Surg/Tele Float role requiring flexibility and strong clinical judgment. Nurses must be comfortable floating to various units as needed and independently managing telemetry patients.
Requirements
Active New York State (NYS) RN License
Minimum 2 years of Med Surg/Telemetry experience required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required prior to start
6 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) in Stroke-related topics required prior to start
Must be able to interpret own telemetry strips
IV experience required (facility does not have an IV team)
Travel experience preferred
Must be willing to float as needed
