Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history documentation.
Administer medications and injections accurately following prescribed protocols while maintaining aseptic techniques.
Manage complex procedures such as IV insertions, catheterizations, wound suturing, and ventilator management.
Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient information meticulously and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Provide specialized care in areas such as ICU, trauma medicine, hospice & palliative care, memory care, and long-term care environments.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
Perform diagnostic evaluations including laboratory specimen collection, processing, and interpretation of results.
Support patients through discharge planning, education on medication management, nutrition, and post-acute care instructions.
Respond promptly to emergency situations utilizing critical care response procedures and basic life support skills.
Engage in continuous professional development by staying current with advances in medical terminology, ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases), CPT coding (Current Procedural Terminology), and other relevant clinical practices.

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state or jurisdiction.
Proven experience working in diverse clinical settings such as hospital medicine, emergency rooms, ICU, or long-term care facilities.
Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Cerner or similar platforms.
Experience with specialized procedures like botulinum toxin treatments for ophthalmology or other fields requiring advanced skills.
Knowledge of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques essential for safe patient care.
Familiarity with diagnostic tools such as sonography or medical imaging is advantageous.
Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and medical terminology.
Ability to perform complex procedures including IV infusion therapy, tube feeding management, ostomy care, and ventilator support.
Excellent communication skills for effective triage assessments and patient education across diverse populations.
Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges is preferred.
Certification in basic life support (BLS) or advanced cardiac life support (ACLS).
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure in acute care environments such as trauma centers or neonatal units.
