REGISTERED NURSE

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION The Staff Nurse is responsible for the nursing care of patients assigned to him/her and to direct others in patient care in the ICU / CCU / IMCU unit QUALIFICATIONS Professional/Educational Current Illinois Registered Nurse license. Completion of cardiac arrhythmia recognition test. Certified by the American Heart Association in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). Certified by the American Heart Association in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within one year of hire date. DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate of Completion required. Personal Works effectively with others, possessing tact, discretion and diplomacy. Demonstrates leadership and teaching ability. Possesses the ability to work under pressure. Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
