Requests will only be accommodated if approved by the facility at the time of booking. Call off Policy: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. Charting: 1 yr of EPIC experience required REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS ======================= BLS, ACLS, NIHSS REQUIRED CLINICAL SKILLS ======================== Must have Ortho Experience UNIT DETAILS AND FLOATING ========================= Ratios: 1:5-6 Adult 26-bed orthopedic spine unit specializing in spinal surgeries (laminectomies, spinal fusions, discectomies) with integrated pain management, physical therapy, & mobility support Patient diagnoses include Med/Surg, Tele, cardiac, low-risk ACS, TIAs, diabetes, hypertension, COPD, dehydration, chest pain, DVT, & PE Special procedures: bedside lumbar puncture, post Cath (radial/femoral), post-surgical care, post renal biopsy, CT Angio, and Heparin drips Floating: While Prisma Health prioritizes keeping staff in their home unit, agency staff are required to float to other units or campuses as needed.
