Job Summary

This is a Travel/Contract Registered Nurse opportunity in the MS/Tele specialty at a Short Term Acute Care facility in Lubbock, TX. The position floats between units and requires weekend availability according to scheduling needs. Expected patient ratios are 1:5 6.

Key Responsibilities

• Float between units as required per scheduling needs
• Provide post-operative care management for orthopedic trauma patients
• Perform blood administration
• Manage wound VAC (negative pressure wound therapy)
• Adhere to weekend scheduling requirements as needed
• Maintain expected patient ratios of 1:5 6

Required Skills

• Orthopedic Trauma Care experience: post-op care management, blood administration, and wound VAC management
• Ability to float between units
• Ability to work weekends according to scheduling needs
• Compliance with facility dress code: solid navy blue colored uniforms or scrub attire for licensed nursing personnel (RN, LVN); scrub tops may have colored piping; print tops are not acceptable
