BLS & NIHSS required

JOB DETAILS:
Shift: 12 hrs 1845-0715
*36 or 48hr contracts accepted*
*Will accept longer contracts 13-26 weeks*
Float required - Float to other MS units and New Hanover Regional Medical Center (main campus) required *Main campus is 32 mins away*
Every other weekend required
No call required
7 days of RTO max per contract
No blocked scheduling requests accepted (unless requesting weekend block Fri-Mon)
Must be able to work holidays
Ratios: 1:6
** Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed

PATIENT DIAGNOSES:
Including but not limited to: Diabetes, dementia, COVID, pneumonia, COPD, sepsis, encephalopathy, GI bleed, anemia, hip fracture, CHF, UTI, various surgical recovery cases, renal failure, hypertension, cellulitis, failure to thrive.
