Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

Duration: 13 Weeks
Location: 450 Northside Cherokee Boulevard, Canton, GA 30115

Schedule: Nights | Varies | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours/Week

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of recent NICU RN experience required.
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
  • Current AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
  • Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required.
  • Experience caring for critically ill and premature neonates in a Level II, III, or IV NICU preferred.
  • Strong neonatal assessment, critical care, ventilator management, and family-centered care skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity neonatal intensive care environment.
  • No local candidates within 50 miles of the facility.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to premature, critically ill, and medically complex neonates requiring intensive care.
  • Perform comprehensive neonatal assessments, monitor vital signs, and recognize changes in patient condition.
  • Administer medications, intravenous fluids, parenteral nutrition, blood products, and other therapies in accordance with physician orders.
  • Assist with neonatal resuscitation, stabilization, and emergency interventions following NRP guidelines.
  • Manage and monitor ventilators, CPAP, high-flow oxygen therapy, and other neonatal respiratory support equipment.
