HOLIDAY REQUIREMENT: travelers will be expected to work 2 of 3 upcoming major holidays (1. Thanksgiving Day/Black Friday, 2. Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, 3. New Years Eve/New Years Day). If the contract falls over only 2 of these holidays, traveler will be expected to work 1 of 2 holidays. Please do not request more than 1 holiday off.

Pre-Screen Unit - Candidate will be reviewed by clinical to determine clinical fit, if clinical pass and within Wellspan guidelines, candidate will be sent to the manager for final decision. Clinical screens will be sent on case-by-case basis.

UNIT INFO: Neurosurgical Intensive Care Unit (NSICU) is a 10-bed intensive care unit (ICU) that provides care to critically ill stroke patients (both ischemic and hemorrhagic) and non-traumatic neurosurgery and neurology patients 18 years and older and serves as an overflow unit for medical patients. Post-operative neurosurgery and neuro-endovascular surgery procedures and care provided include, but are not limited to: ICP monitoring, care post IV and/or IA tPA administration, mechanical thrombectomy, AVM repair, aneurysm repair, carotid stenting procedures, craniotomy, CRRT, ventilator management, and hemodynamic monitoring.
