REGISTERED NURSE - CLINIC

Aspirus Neurosurgery Clinic, Wausau, WI

Full Time (1.0 FTE, 80 hours every pay period)

Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 5:00pm, Friday 7:30am - 3:00pm

Job Description:

This position will work in collaboration with our clinical team consisting of Physicians, Advanced Practicing Clinicians, Registered Nurses, and Medical Assistants to provide excellent care to patients that may include clinical triage, wound checks, pre-ops, patient rooming, scheduling, Epic in-baskets and patient messages through the My Aspirus portal, as well as other tasks as necessary to assist our teams as needed to exceed our patient experience standards.

Experience/Qualifications:

• Associate degree in nursing required.
• Bachelor''s degree in nursing preferred.
• Certification in specialty desired.
• Minimum of one year practicing as a RN preferred.
• Possesses an active Wisconsin and/or Michigan RN nursing license.
• Maintains specialty certification as per department scope of service.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire - All clinical personnel in identified job codes are required to maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) training through independent study, manikin, and knowledge testing. An acceptable BLS training program is the Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider course from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross Professional Rescuer Program with AED.
• Additional required certifications are defined within the department/clinic''s scope of service.
