About the Role:
Project Independence Services Inc is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in New Bedford, MA. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals by providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive and mission-driven environment. This position would be for 20 hours per week. 



Responsibilities:
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
  • Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in accordance with physician orders
  • Monitor and document patient health status, progress, and changes in condition
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care
  • Educate patients and families on health management, medications, and discharge planning
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Respond to patient needs and emergencies with professionalism and clinical expertise
Requirements:
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN) from an accredited program
  • Current BLS/CPR certification required
  • Previous clinical nursing experience preferred
  • Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and care teams
  • Compassionate, patient-focused demeanor with a commitment to quality care
