Registered Nurse

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and record vital signs and medical histories
  
• Administer prescribed medications, IV therapies, and other treatments safely and accurately
  
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and allied health professionals to plan and evaluate care
  
• Monitor and report patient status changes promptly and accurately
  
• Ensure strict adherence to infection control and safety procedures (NYSDOH and Joint Commission standards)
  
• Participate in emergency response procedures (CPR, code situations) when necessary
  
• Document accurately in electronic health records (Epic, EHR, or facility-specific systems)

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  

• Certifications:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required
    
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – Required for hospital roles
    
  • PALS or NRP – Preferred for pediatric or perinatal care areas
    
  • RN license 
    
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of recent experience in hospital, sub-acute, or long-term care settings 
    
  • ICU, Med/Surgical, OR, ER experience preferred
    
  • New graduates may be considered for selected opportunities
