Summary:
- Location: Anschutz Medical Campus
- Duration: 13 Weeks
- Shift: 12Hour DAYS: 6:45 AM 7:15 PM
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
- On Call Requirement: None
- Holiday Work Requirement: July 4th
Responsibilities:
- Provide care in the Level Four NICU
- Float to ICU's (PICU or CICU) and acute care floors (6, 8, 9, 10) as needed
- Ensure care for patients not greater than 3 years of age if floated outside NICU
- Maintain clinical competence and adapt to various practice areas within 35 miles of the original facility
Requirements:
- Education: BSN required; will consider ADN with 8 years of Level IV NICU experience in a teaching and children's facility
- Licensure/Certification: Colorado RN license or multi-state compact license, PALS, ACLS, BLS
- Minimum 2 years of Level IV NICU experience
- MUST HAVE TRACH/VENT EXPERIENCE
- Required Certifications: BLS, NRP, PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
Preferred Skills:
- Prefer Pediatric CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse)
- Prior travel nursing experience
- PICU experience is a plus, but not required
