Summary:

- Shift: 12Hr Nights, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized nursing care to neonatal patients in the NICU.
- Float to ICU's (PICU or CICU) and acute care floors as needed, not handling patients over 3 years old if floated outside NICU.
- Work every other weekend, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
- Work on July 4th as part of the holiday work requirement.
- Be prepared to be reassigned within clinical competence to fulfill scheduled guaranteed hours within 35 miles of the originally assigned facility.
Requirements:
- Education: BSN required; ADN considered with 8 years of Level IV NICU experience in a teaching and children's facility.
- Licensure/Certification: Colorado RN license or multi-state compact license, PALS, ACLS, BLS.
- Minimum Clinical Experience: 2 years of Level IV NICU experience.
- Must have trach/vent experience.
- Required Certifications: BLS, NRP, PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).
Preferred Skills:
- Prefer Pediatric CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse).
- Prior travel nursing experience.
- PICU experience is a plus, but not required.
Additional Notes:
- No RTO approved within the first two weeks of the assignment.
- Medical and religious exemption requests from the seasonal influenza vaccination are allowed.
