Shift: 3x12 Nights 1900-0730
Float is required To other NICU/pediatric areas if not needed in Neonatal Intermediate
Call is required - at least 3 per contract may vary depending on need
Weekend coverage - every other but may change based on need
Medication system: Pyxis
Documentation System - EPIC (must have at least 1 year of EPIC)
Special Procedures/Unit details: We are a 46-bed unit. Most of our babies are admitted through the Neonatal ICU and transferred to us when medically stable ( >30 weeks, >1000g, less than 5 L HFNC). We take care of post-op patients (G-tubes, ostomies), central lines, and septic workups as long as they meet the criteria to stay in the unit. We focus on preparing the families for discharge throughout their stay. Our ratios are 1:3/4
Certificates: BLS, NRP and SC license
Must have NICU II experience, prefer NICU III experience
Patient types: Neonates >34 weeks
Looking for at least 2 years of experience in role
Will review 1st time travelers based on experience
