What Youll Do
Provide expert nursing care to pre-term and surgical NICU patients in a Level 3 unit
Monitor patient vital signs and provide bedside telemetry monitoring
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including RTs, PTs, OTs, Nurse Practitioners, and CRNAs
Administer medications and support patient stabilization
Maintain accurate charting using Meditech Expanse EMR system
Ensure patient safety and comfort in a fast-paced environment
Follow facility protocols for PPE and infection control
What You Need
Required:
Valid RN license in Louisiana or able to obtain
BLS, NRP, NIHSS certifications
Minimum 1 year NICU experience or higher
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
Key Skills:
Strong clinical skills in neonatal care
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to adapt in a fast-paced setting
Preferred:
Experience with Meditech Expanse EMR
Previous hospital NICU experience
