What You’ll Do:

• Provide expert neonatal nursing care for pre-term and Level 3 surgical NICU patients
• Monitor patients closely using bedside telemetry and advanced equipment
• Collaborate with support staff including charge nurses, RTs, PTs, OTs, and nurse practitioners
• Follow facility protocols, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes
• Document patient care accurately in Meditech Expanse EMR
• Support unit operations during assigned shifts, including possible participation in holiday rotations and on-call periods
• Communicate effectively with patients' families and multidisciplinary teams

What You Need:

• Valid RN license for Louisiana (or ability to license promptly)
• Minimum 1 year NICU experience (Level 3 or higher preferred)
• BLS, NRP, NIHSS certifications
• Strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and teamwork-oriented attitude

This assignment places you in a high-acuity NICU dedicated to caring for pre-term and surgical neonatal patients. The unit features 12-15 nurses per shift, with support from resource nurses, RTs, PTs, OTs, and 24/7 nurse practitioner coverage.
