Registered Nurse Night shift 7p-7a

Department: Medical Surgical/ TelemetryJob Title: Registered NurseReports To: Assistant Nurse Manager and/or Nurse DirectorJob Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide direct patient and family support and nursing care within their full scope of practice. This will include participation in the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of programs and services for patients, families, and the community. The responsibilities will include the observation data collection, planning, implementation and evaluation of the patient s physical, psychological, emotional educational and spiritual needs as guided by an individualized and ongoing plan of care. The RN will work collaboratively as a member of the interdisciplinary team. Requirements:Education: RNExperience: at least one year of med/tele Licensure: Active New York Nursing LicenseCertifications: BLS,ACLS, telemetryMust be able to work every other weekend and every other holidayPhysical Requirements: Repetitive use of hands and fingers (e.g., use of computer keyboard); may require lifting and carrying light loads (up to 40 lbs), including boxes, equipment, IV solutions and stooping and kneeling (e.g., to pick up items from the floor, to remove and replace items on lower shelves and to file documents in lower file drawers); sitting, walking, or standing for long periods of time may be necessary; must be able physically to operate the equipment used for the job.
