Job Summary:
Gritman Medical Center is seeking compassionate Staff Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our Medical Surgical and Critical Care units. The Staff RN provides direct and indirect patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of outcomes. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, the RN develops and executes individualized care plans for patients of all ages. Responsibilities include patient and family education, mentoring students and novice nurses, and adherence to professional nursing standards and regulatory guidelines. This role requires proficiency in the nursing process, commitment to patient safety, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Qualifications:
Required Education:
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher.
Required Licenses/Certifications:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Idaho or a compact state.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (or obtain within 12 months of hire).
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (or obtain within 12 months of hire).
Required Skills and Abilities:
Strong critical thinking and time management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Commitment to attend annual skills fairs and maintain clinical competencies.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
Experience in medical-surgical or critical care nursing.
