Registered Nurse NOC Shift

The Registered Nurse NOC Shift plays a critical role in providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in a skilled nursing facility with a focus on post-acute care. Working independently as part of a nursing team, this nurse oversees patient monitoring, administers medications, responds to emergencies, and participates in care planning to ensure high-quality patient outcomes during the night shift.

Shift

10 PM - 6:30 AM , 2 days on 4 days off (rotating schedule); *Shift differential offered for overnight shifts

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient conditions and report changes promptly
• Administer medications accurately and safely
• Respond effectively to emergency situations
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation
• Participate in developing and updating care plans
• Assess and record vital signs regularly

Required Qualifications

• 1+ years of nursing experience preferred, **confident in nursing skills
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS Certified
• Skilled in patient care and medication administration
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
• Effective time management and teamwork abilities
• Demonstrated compassion in patient interactions
