Registered Nurse

RN- Seasonal Flu Clinic

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to support our seasonal Flu Clinic. This is a great opportunity for nurses looking for a short-term assignment focused on community health and vaccination services!

Location: East Bay float OOR SSF float

Start Date: 9/8

Schedule: 5x8-hour shifts

Shift Times: Variable start times

• Earliest: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
• Latest: 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM

Job Duties

• Administer influenza vaccinations in accordance with established clinical guidelines and protocols.
• Assess patients prior to vaccination and review health history for contraindications or precautions.
• Educate patients on vaccine benefits, possible side effects, and post-vaccination care.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and respond appropriately to emergencies.
• Accurately document vaccine administration and patient interactions in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Maintain vaccine storage, handling, and infection prevention standards.
• Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure efficient patient flow and a positive patient experience.
• Provide exceptional customer service while supporting community vaccination efforts.

Note: this role is not per-diem

This is a Contract position based out of Oakland, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $48.00/hr.
