Location: ACE Wellness Center- Valleyview
Reports To: Clinical Director
Position Overview:
ACE Wellness Center is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. The RN will play a critical role in supporting the mental and physical well-being of our clients by providing clinical nursing services, medication management, health assessments, and education within a behavioral health setting. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure quality care and support client wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct client health assessments, including vital signs, medical history, and overall wellness evaluations.
- Administer medications and monitor for side effects, maintaining accurate medication records.
- Coordinate care with physicians, psychiatrists, therapists, and other clinical staff.
- Provide health education and counseling to clients, families, and caregivers.
- Monitor and respond to medical and mental health emergencies; follow protocols for incident reporting.
- Ensure all documentation is completed in compliance with state and federal guidelines, as well as ACE Wellness Center policies.
- Participate in treatment planning and multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Maintain and manage medical supplies and medication inventory.
- Support and assist in the development of health-related programming and workshops.
- Uphold client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and ethical standards.
- Serve as a health advocate for clients, helping them navigate medical and community resources.
Qualifications:
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in nursing, preferably in mental health, behavioral health, or community health settings.
- BLS/CPR certification required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, diverse, and client-focused environment.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and basic computer applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with populations with mental health diagnoses.
- Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices.
- Prior experience in outpatient or community-based behavioral health settings.
Work Environment:
- Office and community-based settings.
- May involve travel between ACE Wellness Center locations or client homes (if applicable).
- Occasional evening or weekend shifts based on client needs or emergencies.

Pay Range: $40.00 – $50.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
