Required Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology nursing
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Strong clinical skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to stay flexible and adapt to a dynamic healthcare environment
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with Epic electronic health record systems
Previous exposure to nurse float procedures within related departments
Additional certifications relevant to cardiology or interventional nursing
Preferred Education and Experience:
Active Registered Nurse license in Kansas or the ability to obtain one
Proven track record in a cardiac or interventional procedure setting
Experience working with adult patient populations
Other Requirements:
Willingness to float between Cath, IR, and EP units as needed
Weekend and holiday shifts required, with on-call responsibilities 1-2 times per week and every third to fourth weekend
Must adhere to a nicotine-free policy at the facility
Orientation includes two days on-site at the KUKC Campus, followed by structured training at Olathe and virtual Epic onboarding
