Job Description:
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Outpatient Medical Oncology Infusion Clinic at Good Samaritan Hospital provides and coordinates patient care using the nursing process. The RN delivers safe, evidence-based care through therapeutic interventions, technology, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team to support patients throughout their treatment.

Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care by assessing physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs and partnering closely with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team throughout their treatment journey.
Use critical thinking and clinical expertise to develop individualized plans of care, incorporating patient education, symptom management, and preparation for ongoing support beyond the clinic setting.
Collaborate with oncologists, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary partners to coordinate care, prioritize treatments, and ensure safe, timely infusion services in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Posting Specifics:
Shift Details: Clinic is open Monday through Friday 8AM-4:30PM
Prefer: Outpatient infusion experience
Minimum Qualifications
Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice. Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment.
RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date.
Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN). Education must be obtained from an accredited institution. Degree will be verified.
Oncology or Radiation experience.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required as of the job description's last update on 4/27/2025. Employees hired or promoted prior to this date will be held to the minimum requirements that were in place at the time of their promotion or hire.
