Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) – Oncology Infusion to provide exceptional care to oncology patients receiving infusion therapies. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-focused care in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Assignment Details
- Specialty: Oncology Infusion
- Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Experience Required: Minimum 1 year of RN experience
- First-Time Travelers: Accepted
- Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend
- On-Call Requirement: None
- Floating: Required as needed based on patient care needs
- Block Scheduling: Not available
- Pending License: Accepted
- Guaranteed Hours: Facility may cancel up to three shifts during the assignment without penalty
- Requested Time Off (RTO): Ideally limited to five days or fewer
- Local Candidate Policy: Applicants residing within a 100-mile radius of the facility are not eligible
Minimum Qualifications
- Active or pending Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience, preferably in Oncology Infusion or an acute care setting
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient education skills
- Ability to adapt to changing patient care needs and float to other units as required
