Registered Nurse – Operating Room Circulator

Location: Woodsville, NH
Duration: 14 Weeks
Shift: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–4:30 PM (4×10)
Employment Type: Travel Contract

Weekly Gross: $2,300–$2,500, based on experience

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room Circulator to provide high-quality nursing care throughout the perioperative process. The RN will support intraoperative and postoperative/PACU care for patients across a wide age range and participate in a variety of surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an Operating Room Circulator during surgical procedures.
• Provide safe and effective intraoperative nursing care.
• Provide postoperative and PACU nursing support as needed.
• Care for patients ranging in age from approximately 7 to 100 years.
• Participate in a variety of surgical cases, including:
  • Endoscopy
  • General Surgery
  • Orthopedics
  • Urology
  • Podiatry
• Assist with maintaining patient safety, surgical workflow, and infection-control standards.
• Participate in required call coverage.
• Support PACU operations and recovery-area patient care.
• Complete PACU training when required and provided.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technicians, and other members of the perioperative team.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and follow established clinical protocols.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Operating Room circulating experience is required.
• Minimum 2 years of travel nursing experience preferred.
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
• Experience with one or more of the following surgical specialties is preferred:
  • Endoscopy
  • General Surgery
  • Orthopedics
  • Urology
  • Podiatry
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• PALS certification required.
• Experience with Oracle/Cerner EMR preferred.
• Strong clinical, communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
