Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our RN, you will assume responsibility for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with the healthcare team and patient/family to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient, advancing modern nursing through compassionate care.

• Assess patient's physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interview, review of medical records & clinical data.
• Evaluates patient's response and intervenes to ensure optimal patient outcome.
• Develop and implement patient plan of care and observe outcomes in accordance with nursing standards and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrate competency in a variety of therapeutic/diagnostic interventions including, but not limited to, IV's, incision/wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collections.
• Thorough and confidential maintenance of patient charts and records.
• Document ongoing status, interventions, patient response and outcomes in an accurate, timely manner.

We are offering a $20,000 Sign on bonus in addition up to $10,000 relocation assistance to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.

Schedule: 36hrs/wk- Nights- variable days of the week and shift start times per surgical volume and current unit needs.

Call required approx. 4 call shifts in 6 week schedule block. Typically, no weekend call unless covering team members PTO.

Job Requirements

Required

• Associates Degree in Nursing; Nursing Diploma or by endorsement
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates, preferred for experienced RNs
• RN License required; Current state nursing licenses or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact

Preferred

• Previous OR experience highly preferred

• One year of Nursing experience

• Bachelors Degree in Nursing

Where You'll Work

As a Registered Nurses in the Operating Room at St. Anthony Hospital you will provide direct patient advocacy and clinical support across a high-volume surgical department, which includes 17 suites-featuring a designated trauma room, a hybrid room, a CVOR, and a cystoscopy suite. The facility manages approximately 900-950 cases per month across a wide range of specialties, including General, Ortho (Trauma), Neuro, Spine, Eyes, ENT, GU, Robotics (DaVinci XI/SI), Vascular, Endovascular, Cardiac, and OB/GYN. While there is a specialized team for cardiac and neuro procedures, all other RNs are cross-trained for all remaining surgical services. Daily duties include performing circulating functions, providing intraoperative support such as managing sterile instruments and supplies, facilitating room turnovers, and restocking for subsequent procedures.
