  • Position Type: Contract
  • Contract Duration: 3 months
  • Pay Rate: $78.00 / Hour (USD)
  • Shift / Schedule: Day Shift (3x12 Hours), 7:00 AM 7:00 PM; weekends required: Friday, Saturday, & Sunday

Job Summary

This is a Travel/Contract Operating Room RN position at a Short Term Acute Care facility. The role requires block schedule availability with weekend shifts (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 12-hour days). The expected patient ratio is 1:1, and on-call is not required. The weekend RN must have Ortho, Neuro, General, XI/DV5 Robot, and Trauma experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room setting
  • Float between units is not required for this position
  • Work block schedules as required, covering Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 12-hour shifts
  • Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio throughout assignments
  • Apply specialized experience across Ortho, Neuro, General, XI/DV5 Robot, and Trauma cases

  • Dress Code (Licensed Nursing Personnel RN, LVN): Solid navy blue colored uniforms or scrub attire. Scrub tops may have colored piping. Print tops are not acceptable attire except for licensed staff in the Children's Hospital (PED, Pedi, PICU, NICU). Women's Services (L&D, Mom/Baby) will meet the requirements for their unit-specific scrub attire.
  • Dress Code (Unlicensed Personnel US, CNA, PCA, NT, MT): Solid hunter green colored uniforms or scrub attire. Print tops are not acceptable except in the areas noted above.
  • Parking: Free in any unrestricted space. Please park in any of the free surface parking lots with signs that say Employee/Visitor Parking.
