Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Facility: Plymouth Hospital

Position Description: Contract Guarantee hours= 72 Hours Biweekly on all Assignments these guaranteed hours do not include any on-call time worked

Will not consider travelers who have worked at BILH within the last six months- travel, per diem, perm. NO local travelers will be accepted (cannot reside within 50 mi from the facility).

Shift: 10H Day shift 7a-5p with 2 calls a month.

RTO: No more than 3 days in a row will be approved for time off. ALL RTO REQUESTS MUST BE PRESENTED AT TIME OF SUB.

Flu required prior to start - medical exemption acceptable.

Certifications: BLS and current Massachusetts RN license required at time of submission.

Experience: ORTHO EXP REQUIRED - MUST HAVE ortho trauma, and general, neuro would be a bonus. Travel experience required. Current O.R. experience. Demonstrated working knowledge of all principles of aseptic techniques. Demonstrated working knowledge of technical skills to operate complex surgical equipment during surgical procedures: i.e. Endoscopic, Laser, ENT, Ortho, Plastic, Podiatry, Neuro, General, Thoracic, Urology, and Vascular.

**PASS/FAIL ECG/TELE TEST AND MEDICATIONS TEST PRIOR TO ACCEPTANCE - ONE ATTEMPT ONLY TO PASS **
Dysrhythmia (20 questions) and Medication (20 questions) tests are now administered by CCH via Zoom Protector meeting PRIOR to assignment. We need RN s to test within 48 hrs of offer. 85% is the passing score, there is NO opportunity for remediation or re-sit, so we suggest RN s prepare for the test, leveraging the Study Guide provided by the client that include tips and answers**
