• Pay Rate: $80.00 $85.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: 2 x 12-hour shifts 11:00 AM 11:00 PM; 2 x 8-hour shifts 3:00 PM 11:00 PM
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This travel/contract Operating Room Registered Nurse position is located in Worcester, MA, serving a major academic medical center. The role requires a highly experienced OR nurse capable of both circulating and scrubbing across a wide range of complex surgical specialties.

Key Responsibilities

• Circulate and scrub in the following specialty areas: Transplant (Liver and Kidney), Endo, Vascular, Vascular Emergencies, Neuro, Trauma, MVA, Gunshot and Stabbings, Circulate Hearts, General Surgery, Pedi, and Micro.
• Participate in call rotation: 1 night every third weekend.

Education Requirements

• MA (Massachusetts) RN License required.
• Flu vaccination required (Medical/Religious Exemptions and Declinations Allowed).

Required Skills

• Must have scrub experience to be submitted.
• Must be able to circulate and scrub in all listed specialty areas: Transplant, Liver and Kidney, Endo, Vascular, Vascular Emergencies, Neuro, Trauma, MVA, Gunshot and Stabbings, Circulate Hearts, General Surgery, Pedi, and Micro.

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• On-call rotation: 1 night every third weekend.
• COVID-19 vaccination: Not required.
• Flu vaccination: Required Medical/Religious Exemptions and Declinations Allowed.

Important Notes

• A pass/fail medication exam is required as part of the in-person orientation. Only 1 attempt is allowed. If the candidate does not pass, the contract is cancelled immediately. Study materials will be provided.
• Traveler must be made aware of this pass/fail exam requirement prior to submission.
