Job Summary:

Position Title: Registered Nurse - OR
Location: Kaiua, HI 96734
Duration: 13 Weeks
Work Schedule: Days 07:00 AM - 05:30 PM


Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
  • Prepare and assess patients before surgical procedures.
  • Provide direct nursing care during the perioperative period.
  • Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
  • Assist surgeons and the surgical team during procedures.
  • Monitor patients' conditions and respond appropriately to changes.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Ensure proper handling and accountability of surgical instruments and supplies.
  • Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
  • Educate patients and families regarding surgical procedures and recovery expectations.
  • Collaborate effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Promote patient safety and compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.

To be considered for this position, you should have: [Skills, Education, or Experience]
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) License HI state.
  • BLS Certification (Required).
  • Operating Room nursing experience.
  • Ability to work variable shifts in a fast-paced surgical environment.
