What Youll Do

Provide perioperative nursing care in a busy OR specializing in robotics, neuro, transplant, and general surgeries
Circulate during a variety of complex cases; scrub experience preferred but not required
Ensure patient safety and support the surgical team throughout procedures
Adhere to infection control, safety, and compliance standards
Assist with unit support including anesthesia, RT, and support staff as needed
Maintain accurate documentation within Meditech Expanse EMR system
Comply with hospital policies regarding call shifts, weekends, and holidays

What You Need
Required:

Valid RN license in Louisiana
BLS and ACLS certifications
Minimum 2 years of perioperative nursing experience, including robotic surgeries and neuro or transplant cases
Experience with Meditech EMR preferred
Ability to pass an EKG competency exam

Preferred:

OR scrub and first assistant experience
Neuro-spine, neuro-vascular, or transplant experience
Cardio/thoracic surgery background
