Our Clinical Nurses (RN) in OP Chemotherapy independently provide care to adult patients with a focus in medical and surgical oncologic specialties such as breast, GYN and neuroendocrine tumors. Working with a dedicated team, the RN provides evidence-based, high quality care, including patient assessment and treatment, and serves as a resource for other team members. Responsibilities
Certification Requirements: • Current Healthcare Provider CPR/BLS upon hire • Specialty Certifications: • PACU, ICU, Cath Lab, Angiography, Lung Center, McAuley Surgery Center - ACLS within 1 year of hire or 6 months of promotion • ED - ACLS within 6 months of hire/promotion & ENPC or PALS within 1 year • Mother/Baby, NICU/PEDS - NRP within 6 months of hire/promotion • Labor & Delivery - NRP within 6 months of hire/promotion and EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) within 1 year of hire • Telemetry - ACLS within 1 year of hire, within 18 months of hire if new grad • Chemotherapy Clinic (Outpatient Chemo) - ONS (Oncology Nursing Society) certification within 1 year of hire and OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) certification within 2 years of hire • Other Requirements: • Critical thinking • Adaptability • Prioritization

Education and Work Experience
Education and Work Experience: • Must possess a high school diploma or GED • Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and successfully completed the State Board of Nursing Licensure Exam • BSN Preferred • Must possess one to two years of clinical nursing experience in oncology, strongly preferred • Oncology Nurse Certified (OCN) preferred, or agreement to certify within one year of hire • Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider certification within 6 months of hire
