OVERVIEW:
Triage Cardiology RN - Seattle, WA ***32-Week contract***
- Schedule: 5x8hr, Monday-Friday, 0830-1700
- Start Date: 9/21/2026
- End Date: 4/30/2027 (the leave is scheduled to end this week)
- Years of experience REQ: 1 year of experience working as an RN in an outpatient cardiology clinic setting and triage setting is REQUIRED

- Special Procedures/Unit Details: Patient population includes cardiology patients who may be preparing for or recovering from procedures such as cardiac catheterization, PCI/stent placement, EP procedures, structural heart procedures, cardioversions, or vascular/interventional studies. Many patients may be medically complex and require careful assessment of symptoms, anticoagulation status, medication changes, and post-procedure complications. The clinic role is generally ambulatory, not procedural sedation or cath lab intra-procedure nursing unless specifically trained/credentialed. Triage patient calls/messages using clinic protocols and provider direction. Reinforce medication instructions already ordered by providers. Assess symptoms and determine appropriate escalation. Escalate urgently for chest pain, new/worsening shortness of breath, syncope/near-syncope, stroke-like symptoms, uncontrolled bleeding, unstable vitals, or signs of vascular access complications.
