Registered Nurse (RN) – Outpatient Neurology Clinic
Location: Eureka, CA
Join our Outpatient Neurology Clinic in beautiful Eureka, California, where you'll provide specialized nursing support in a collaborative outpatient setting. This is a clinic-based role focused on patient care coordination, infusion management, medication refills, prior authorizations, and patient education. The ideal candidate is organized, patient-focused, and comfortable managing a high-volume outpatient workload.
Manage infusion orders, medication refills, and prior authorizations.
Respond to patient calls and MyChart messages, providing clinical guidance and support.
Assist with outpatient neurology office visits and patient assessments.
Administer and document cognitive screening using the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA).
Coordinate care with providers and interdisciplinary team members.
Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC EMR.
Provide patient education and support regarding neurological conditions and treatment plans.
Active RN License (California licensure required within 2 weeks of start).
Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
Strong communication, assessment, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
Experience with EPIC EMR.
Prior Neurology or Infusion experience.
Outpatient clinic experience preferred.
Outpatient Neurology Clinic (not an inpatient bedside role).
No weekends or on-call requirements.
Start Date: ASAP.
