Registered Nurse – Outpatient OB/GYN Clinic

Mon–Fri, 8 AM–5 PM (no weekends or on call)
Pay Rate: $54+ per hour! (depending on experience) 
 
Position Overview
J. Morrissey is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment at a specialty outpatient clinic in Farmington, Connecticut. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse with outpatient clinical experience, particularly in a women’s health or OB/GYN setting.

The ideal candidate will be compassionate, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient environment while providing high-quality patient care and education.
Responsibilities

• Perform patient triage and clinical assessments
• Assist providers with office-based procedures
• Provide patient education regarding treatment plans, medications, procedures, and follow-up care
• Monitor and document patient information accurately
• Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and members of the healthcare team
• Support daily clinical operations and maintain a high standard of patient care
• Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system for documentation and patient care coordination

Requirements

• Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Prior travel preferred
• 1 year of nursing experience in a women’s health OB/GYN office 
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Strong clinical assessment and patient communication skills
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a clinical team
