Registered Nurse - Outpatient Surgery

• Assess patients and obtain comprehensive nursing histories. 
• Monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions and changes. 
• Develop, implement, and update individualized nursing care plans. 
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery, and ongoing care. 
• Coordinate patient care with physicians and interdisciplinary team members. 
• Administer nursing care in accordance with established clinical policies and protocols. 
• Evaluate patient responses to treatment and adjust care as appropriate. 
• Supervise and support non-licensed clinical personnel when assigned. 
• Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record. 
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities. 

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. 
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program. 
• Current BLS certification. 
• Knowledge of current nursing standards and applicable Nurse Practice Act. 
• Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinical setting. 

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). 
• Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse (CPAN). 
• One or more years of experience in the Operating Room (OR) and/or Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). 
• Previous outpatient surgery or pain management experience. 

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and teammates. 
• Stay organized while managing multiple priorities. 
• Demonstrate strong clinical judgment and critical thinking. 
• Deliver compassionate, professional patient care. 
• Pay close attention to detail and documentation accuracy. 
• Adapt quickly in a dynamic surgical environment. 
• Work collaboratively while taking ownership of patient outcomes. 
• Maintain high standards of safety and infection prevention.
