    Position Summary

    As a Registered Nurse in our Ambulatory Surgery Center, you will play an essential role in guiding patients through every stage of their surgical experience. From pre-operative preparation to recovery, you’ll work closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and fellow clinical staff to deliver safe, compassionate, and efficient patient care.

    What You’ll Do

    • Provide direct patient care during pre-operative, intra-operative, and recovery phases
    • Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and clinical teams to coordinate seamless patient care
    • Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery expectations, medications, and post-operative instructions
    • Deliver compassionate emotional support to patients and their loved ones
    • Ensure compliance with nursing standards, ASC policies, and regulatory requirements
    • Maintain a safe, clean, and patient-centered clinical environment
    • Follow infection prevention standards, medication safety protocols, and confidentiality requirements
    • Contribute to a positive team atmosphere focused on exceptional patient outcomes

    What You Bring

    • ASN or BSN degree required
    • Current Registered Nurse license in the applicable state
    • Current BLS certification required
    • ACLS certification required (or ability to obtain within one year of employment)
    • Surgical or operating room experience preferred
    • Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
    • Passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care

    Physical Demands & Work Environment

    This role requires standing for extended periods, lifting/moving patients or equipment, and working in a fast-paced surgical environment. Team members may occasionally be exposed to:

    • Bloodborne pathogens
    • Communicable diseases
    • Anesthesia gases/agents
    • Hazardous materials
    • Surgical equipment and sharps
