    Description

    • Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations, medical histories, and nursing assessments, to identify patients' healthcare needs and conditions.

    • Care Planning: Develop individualized care plans based on patients' needs, collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
    • Medication Administration: Administer medications and treatments prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate dosages, proper routes, and adherence to medication schedules.
    • Patient Monitoring: Monitor and document patients' vital signs, reactions to medications, and responses to treatments. Notify the healthcare team promptly of any significant changes.
    • Wound Care and Procedures: Provide wound care, assist with medical procedures, and support patients during diagnostic tests or surgeries as needed.
    • Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about their medical conditions, treatment plans, and self-care strategies to promote health and wellness.
    • IV Therapy: Administer intravenous (IV) medications, fluids, and blood products while adhering to sterile techniques and safety guidelines.
    • Infection Control: Follow strict infection control protocols to prevent the spread of infections and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
    • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and support staff to ensure seamless care coordination and efficient patient outcomes.
    • Emergency Response: Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate nursing interventions to stabilize patients' conditions and initiate appropriate care.
    • Documentation: Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, including nursing assessments, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
    • Advocacy: Advocate for patients' rights and ensure their needs and preferences are communicated and addressed throughout their healthcare journey.
    • Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including evaluating patient care outcomes and implementing evidence-based practices.
    Requirements:
    • Valid and current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the respective state.
    • Graduation from an accredited nursing program with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
    • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing procedures and best practices.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
    • Ability to adapt to dynamic healthcare environments and make quick and sound clinical decisions.
    • Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-centered approach to nursing care.
